Hi All

Following on from the previous topic in the Daily Mail, there is also a story regarding Bone Age, I'm a little embarrassed as I'm in this article! Very interesting section today in their good health.

Love

Hi Lou

I read the article this morning... just seen your post, so I've now been back to re-read it!! How did you manage to get into the article?

I had my bones scanned a month ago as I'm on steroids longterm too - but my bone age was much younger than I am, so I was quite pleased!! I also take Vit D

Nice to see you are now famous!

love Anne x

Hi Louise - lovely pic of you. Hope you don't mind me putting the link on here - Bone age - it's a really good article. Very clear and informative. Thank you so much for pointing this out - I'm off to do some weight bearing exercise (aka housework!!! Laugh )

There's a video on there aimed at 20-40 yr olds - that's sadly not me, but my eldest daughter is getting close - she's 18 - and I know there's lots of younger women who visit the forum and this is really helpful stuff. Basically the video says that what we do in those 2 decades has a major consequence on our bone health in later life, so it's very important to spread the word - better bones .

Now I really MUST get on with the housework - can't put it off any longer ThumbDown

Sylvia xx
